Darguin Fortuna, AIA, NCARB

Darguin Fortuna is the Founding Principal of Flow Design Architects, a mission-driven practice centered on equity, sustainability, and impact. A multi-state licensed architect and NCARB-certified professional, he leads complex residential, housing, and community-focused work across the U.S. and the Dominican Republic. Darguin is the 2026 Chair of the AIA Small Firm Exchange (SFx) and a national advocate for small firms, practice sustainability, and inclusive leadership. A recipient of the AIA Young Architect Award and other national honors, he is also an educator, mentor, and frequent speaker dedicated to expanding access and opportunity within the architecture profession.

Marcos Severino

Marcos Severino is a Founding Principal and Project Manager at Flow Design Architects, where he leads multidisciplinary teams and oversees projects through all phases of design and construction. He holds an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology from Massasoit Community College, where he served as President of the Architecture Club and received the Academic Excellence Award, and a NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College, graduating Cum Laude. Prior to co-founding Flow, Marcos gained professional experience at Maugel Design Interiors and through his work with YouthBuild Boston’s Designery, a hands-on architecture program for high school students. His work reflects a strong commitment to affordable, community-centered design, mentorship, and operational excellence within the firm.

Julio Gutierrez

Julio Gutierrez is the Director of Design at Flow Design Architects, where he leads design vision and execution across the firm’s Salem, Massachusetts studio. With over a decade of experience, Julio has worked on a wide range of project types including multi-family housing, commercial, institutional, interior fit-ups, renovations, and community-focused developments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes and is a licensed architect in Mexico, currently pursuing licensure in the United States. Julio’s international background and fluency in both Spanish and English inform his design approach, combining cultural sensitivity with technical rigor. His work reflects a strong balance of creativity, efficiency, and buildability across all phases of design.

Nicolle Villa

Nicolle Villa is the Director of Interior Design and a Senior Designer at Flow Design Architects. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad del Norte in Colombia and a Master of Interior Design from the Boston Architectural College. With professional experience spanning commercial, residential, and community-focused projects, Nicolle brings a thoughtful, inclusive approach to design that balances aesthetics, accessibility, and efficiency. Her work has been recognized with the 2024 Metropolis Future 100 Award and the BAC Master’s Thesis Excellence Award, reflecting her leadership and commitment to creating meaningful, equitable interior environments.

Rai Ramirez

Rai Ramírez was born & raised in the Dominican Republic. She is pursuing a Bachelors of Architecture at the BAC & have completed 4 years. She developed an interest for architecture & Design at a young age by paying attention to details & drawing sketches. After her first college semester She became passionate with Arch & the process of seeing an idea turned into a fully functional space. While in Arch school Rai has worked in customer service for 5+ years & truly enjoys helping others. She also worked on a few internships to gain experience on the field one of them at Dream collaboratives.

Whandy Martinez

Whandy Martinez is a Project Manager at Flow Design Architects and a licensed architect in the Dominican Republic. He has played a key role in establishing and growing Flow’s Dominican Republic office in La Vega, helping shape both its operational structure and design culture. With experience spanning design development, construction documentation, and project coordination, Whandy leads teams through complex workflows across local and international projects. His leadership bridges design intent with execution, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through delivery while supporting the long-term growth of Flow’s presence in the Dominican Republic.

Alexa Valentine

Alexa Valentine is an Interior Architecture student at Endicott College, graduating in May 2026, with a strong foundation in spatial planning, interior design, and visual communication. She brings hands-on experience from internships at Laurie DiGiacomo Interiors and Toledo Geller Interiors, where she supported design development, client presentations, and on-site coordination. Alexa is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite, and is known for her thoughtful approach to inclusive, user-centered design. She is passionate about applying her academic training in a professional setting while continuing to grow as a designer.

Stephany Queiroz 

Stephany Queiroz da Silva is a Designer at Flow Design Architects with over five years of professional experience across residential design, project management, and construction documentation. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture, along with advanced degrees in Interior Design and Business, and is currently an Architect in Training (AXP in progress). Stephany brings a strong balance of conceptual thinking and technical execution, with expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and visualization. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, she is driven by purposeful design, collaboration, and creating spaces that improve everyday life.

Patrick Grant

Patrick is a field surveying lead with our surveying crew. He manages and directs the field work for site surveying, lot staking and the production of existing, proposed and as built plot plans & site plans.

Yirkelys Santana

Yirkelys Santana is a Designer at Flow Design Architects with a strong foundation in both interior design and architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Suffolk University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Yirkelys brings experience in design development, FF&E coordination, and post-occupancy evaluation, with a background that bridges design, fabrication, and education. Fluent in Spanish, English, and American Sign Language (ASL), he brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to projects, informed by his interest in materiality, user experience, and inclusive design

Juliana Pinceli

Juliana Pinceli is a Designer at Flow Design Architects with over five years of experience spanning residential, commercial, and interior design projects in both Brazil and the United States. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade do Sagrado Coração and brings a strong background in design coordination, client engagement, and construction documentation. Juliana has led projects from concept through visualization and detailing, with particular strength in interiors, FF&E, and 3D rendering. Bilingual in Portuguese and English, she combines technical rigor with a refined design sensibility shaped by international practice.

Gean Rodriguez

Gean Rodriguez, Assoc. AIA is a Designer at Flow Design Architects with a strong focus on residential and mixed-use design. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in the Dominican Republic and is a licensed architect through CODIA. Gean is currently enrolled in NCARB’s Foreign Architect Path and completing his AXP toward U.S. licensure. With professional experience spanning design development, construction documentation, 3D modeling, and client coordination, he brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to every project. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gean is driven by a commitment to creating spaces that promote clarity, well-being, and strong architectural intent.

Natalie Villar 

Natalie Villar is the Branch Manager of Flow Design Architects in La Vega, Dominican Republic, where she oversees local and international projects and manages day-to-day office operations. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and is a licensed architect in the Dominican Republic through CODIA. Natalie leads zoning and permitting processes for the firm, coordinating regulatory approvals, applications, and agency reviews with precision and efficiency. With a strong understanding of local codes and project workflows, she plays a critical role in bridging design, compliance, and execution across Flow’s Dominican Republic and U.S. operations.

Jefry Castillo

Jefry Castillo is a Designer at Flow Design Architects and a final-year Bachelor of Architecture student at Universidad Católica del Cibao (UCATECI) in the Dominican Republic. He supports both local and international projects, with a primary focus on architectural drawings, 3D renderings, and design visualization. Jefry works closely with project teams on plan production, material selection, and client coordination, contributing to Flow’s growing presence in the Dominican Republic. Passionate about design and professional growth, he is committed to developing his skills as he prepares to transition from student to licensed architect.

Peter Souhleris

Peter is an internationally recognized real estate investing expert, which was evident at the highest level after Peter starred in A&E’s hit TV show “Flipping Boston” for 4 seasons. National news outlets, such as CNBC, CNN, and CBS, consistently reach out to him for his accurate, insightful, and expert opinions and perspective. He also created the QuickFlip System, a national real estate investing education program that has taught thousands of students how to successfully invest in real estate. At Flow Peter has come from a client to a partner in the making of effective designs and rich architectural insight for each project we collaborate in.

Edwin De La Cruz Torres

Edwin is the Director of Media at Flow Design Architects. He oversees all of our photography, film and outreach content. He is currently also running our marketing content and our Flow Design Architects Youtube Channel. He recently produced our Award Winning entry for the 2022 AIA Film Challenge, People's Choice Award.

Dave Towle

David Towle is a Veteran with extensive experience in construction, management and cost estimating. He assists Flow with all Cost Estimating Services.
